"Mack" is a 14 year old, 15.1 HH registered AQHA buckskin gelding with a solid, proven set of papers. Backed by legendary bloodlines including PEPPY SAN BADGER and PEPTOBOOSMAL, he's naturally cow smart and gritty.

 

Well broke with a solid walk/trot/lope, big stop, soft mouth and responsive to leg. Mack is very versatile - park trips, pasture checked, packed in the mountains, babysat beginners, ponied colts, roped, parades, started on barrels and has worked at a 7000-head feedlot; moving, pushing, sorting and checking cows. He's confident, sure-footed, rides out alone, desensitized to most, handy and willing. 

 

He is easy to catch, good to haul and is low maintenance. He's the same horse after time off, stands quiet, is respectful on the ground and is so handsome - and he knows it. UTD on dewormer, farrier and teeth.

 

Mack pastures best in a non-mixed herd as he tends to sit at the top of the pecking order.

 

He’s kind, gentle and as honest as they come making him suitable for a wide range of riders - the ideal family, kids 4-H, relaxed beer-in-hand trail horse or put him to work ranch horse.
